Deputy Headteacher Opportunity

Woodeaton Manor School, a Foundation Special School, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Headteacher to join our team. Our school serves young people aged 7 to 18 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties (SEMH) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

About the Role

We are looking for a Deputy Headteacher who will work closely with our Headteacher to lead and inspire our staff. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the needs of our students and a commitment to supporting them to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of staff to ensure high-quality teaching and learning
  • Support the Headteacher in developing and implementing school policies and procedures
  • Contribute to the development of the school's curriculum and assessment strategies
  • Work closely with the Governing Body and the CEO and leadership team within The Propeller Academy Trust
  • Coaching for the senior leadership team
  • A commitment to enabling high-quality continuing professional development
