Main Job Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Rehabilitation Assistant to join our Falls Prevention Service team. The successful candidate will work alongside a team of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, and other Rehabilitation Assistants to deliver strength and balance classes, as well as provide support to clients in their own homes.

Key Duties:
  • Conduct Basic Falls Screening to identify clients at risk of falls and provide appropriate interventions.
  • Collect and record client information to assist in prioritizing care.
  • Work in various settings, including community centers, clinics, and clients' homes.
  • Assist in running the Falls Exercise and Activity Training (FEAT) group program.
  • Provide cover for other Rehabilitation Assistants as needed.

Person Specification
  • NVQ Level 3 in a relevant area.
  • GCSE grade A-C or equivalent in English and Maths.
  • Minimum of two years' experience as a Rehabilitation Assistant in a health or similar setting.
  • Experience working in a community team and using Microsoft Office and various databases.
