Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Craftsperson to join our Estates team at Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our hospital environment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Carry out day-to-day repairs and statutory planned preventative maintenance across the Trust site.
  • Work on steam, heating, DHW, CWS, waste services, and medical gas systems, including ancillary equipment.
  • Regularly inspect, test, and maintain Air Handling Units and ventilation plant, adhering to HTM03-01 guidelines.
  • Operate steam systems, including boiler plant, in accordance with PSSR 2000 Regulations.
  • Flush and monitor water systems, following Control of Legionella HTM04-01, L8, and Estates Water Management Regime documentation.
