Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality nursing care to customers, including administering medication, ordering and recording information in accordance with internal procedures and NMC guidelines.
- Lead a team of support staff, prioritizing and planning tasks to ensure the smooth management of the shift and the needs of our customers are met.
- Support ongoing assessments, observing changes in health and well-being, and maintaining accurate records.
- Ensure the safe storage and administration of medication, and maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse.
- Thorough knowledge of nursing theory and best practice at the level of a qualified nurse (level 5).
- Understanding of the NMC code of conduct and relevant practice standards and guidance.
- Effective nursing practice in all basic registered nurse procedures.
- Flexibility to work rostered hours and on-call rota as required.
