Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Databricks Consultant/Engineer to join our team at Damia Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for setting up and automating our Databricks environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Automate Databricks DevOps processes to ensure efficient operations and minimize downtime.
  • Integrate Databricks with GitHub to streamline CI/CD workflows and improve collaboration.
  • Configure and maintain Unity Catalog for data access management and ensure secure data governance.
  • Automate cluster provisioning to optimize performance and reduce costs.
  • Develop solutions for automated access management to Databricks resources and ensure seamless user experience.
  • Build data migration pipelines using medallion architecture and integrate with enterprise data platform (Immuta, Alation, Iceberg, and Snowflake, S3).
  • Design and implement Databricks DR setup to ensure business continuity and disaster recovery.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Databricks DevOps automation and GitHub integration.
  • Strong understanding of Unity Catalog and data access management.
  • Ability to automate cluster provisioning and optimize performance.
  • Experience in developing solutions for automated access management.
  • Knowledge of medallion architecture and enterprise data platform integration.
  • Ability to design and implement Databricks DR setup.
