Job Title: AWS Data Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Data Engineer to join our dynamic team at JPMorgan Chase. As a seasoned member of our agile team, you will design and deliver trusted data collection, storage, access, and analytics solutions in a secure, stable, and scalable way.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with designers and analysts to develop data extraction and transformation pipelines
  • Support the review of controls to ensure sufficient protection of enterprise data
  • Advise on custom configuration changes in data extraction tools to generate products at the business or customer request
  • Update logical or physical data models based on new use cases
  • Frequently use SQL and understand cloud-based computing
  • Contribute to a team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience across the data lifecycle
  • Advanced skills in SQL (e.g., joins and aggregations)
  • Working knowledge of Cloud platforms, e.g., AWS
  • Knowledge of Python, Databricks, SQL, data modeling, and analysis
  • Adept at working with project analysts to develop cohesive business requirements
  • Experience customizing changes in tools to generate products

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Databricks
  • AWS
  • ETL background in other tools
  • Data modeling
  • Oracle database design
