**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at Omega Resource Group. As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of Mechanical Design Engineers in the design of complex aerospace equipment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead and mentor a team of Mechanical Design Engineers in the design of components and supporting equipment for military aircraft.
- Design and develop electromechanical systems for aerospace applications.
- Carry out performance and structural calculations to ensure the integrity of aerospace equipment.
- Produce 3D models and 2D drawings to support design and development activities.
- Develop and maintain supporting documentation for engineering changes.
- Work on both new development and sustainment projects to ensure the delivery of high-quality aerospace equipment.
**Requirements:**
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
- Strong background in aerospace design and development.
- Experience in electromechanical system design and development.
- Excellent leadership and mentoring skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
