We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Force Control Room Operator. As a key member of our response team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Answer emergency and non-emergency calls in a professional and calm manner
  • Assess risk and make quick decisions to deploy officers to incidents
  • Work with response and neighbourhood policing teams to ensure public safety
  • Utilize radio and technology systems to deploy officers and respond to incidents
What We Offer:
  • Total Salary: £33,000 - £40,000 per annum/pro rata, inclusive of 20% shift allowance and 14.21% Weekend Working
  • Shift patterns: 24-hour, 7 days a week operation; rotating shift pattern which includes evenings, nights and weekend shifts

About the Role:

As a Force Control Room Operator, you will be the first point of contact for members of the public in emergency situations. You will be responsible for answering calls, assessing risk, and deploying officers to incidents. You will work closely with our response and neighbourhood policing teams to ensure public safety and respond to emergencies.

You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will be part of a team that is dedicated to making a difference in our community.
