Compassionate Nursery Practitioner Required

A full-time position has become available for a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a nurturing and supportive childcare environment.

If you have a passion for engaging in stimulating activities with children under the age of 3 and possess a solid understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, we would like to hear from you.

Qualifications and Skills Required:
NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or an equivalent qualification

Familiarity with the EYFS framework and experience in supporting the development of children under 3 years of age

Basic Food Hygiene Certification (Desirable)

Key Responsibilities:
1. Act as a key worker for a small group of children, ensuring their individual physical, emotional, and educational needs are met.
2. Conduct regular observations and assessments of key children, planning activities tailored to each child's unique requirements.
3. Foster positive relationships with families and caregivers.
4. Adhere to all nursery policies and procedures.
5. Collaborate with the EYFS framework to promote diversity and deliver engaging learning opportunities in a caring environment.
6. Work closely with the Room Leader to maintain high standards of care, including daily records and checks such as sleep charts and daily diaries.
7. Share responsibility for hygiene and cleanliness within the nursery and report any hazards to management.
8. Participate in monthly staff meetings, training sessions, and events as required.
