About the Role
At Inspired Selection, we are seeking a highly skilled Marketing and Communications Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for planning and delivering marketing and communication strategies to our members and the wider scholarly and professional publishing community.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage campaigns to promote our organization's mission and values
- Coordinate newsletters and other marketing materials to engage our members and stakeholders
- Oversee the development and implementation of social media strategies to increase our online presence
- Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of our website content
- Collaborate with our Membership and Marketing Committee to identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Support the growth and development of our membership base
- Represent our organization at key events and conferences
Requirements
- A marketing qualification or equivalent experience in a marketing and communications role
- Working proficiency of email marketing tools and other digital marketing platforms
- Experience or a genuine interest in working for a membership organization, as well as the scholarly and professional publishing landscape
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
- Tech-savviness and a keen eye for detail
- Willingness to travel and represent our organization at major events
