In this position, the successful Automotive Technician will engage in the servicing, repair, diagnosis, and maintenance of vehicles, focusing on various hydraulic and electrical systems. You will also be responsible for inspecting and evaluating vehicles and equipment, managing material requirements, and completing documentation and test reports in line with current regulations.

The ideal candidate will possess an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent and seek a role within a well-established organization where they can work on some of the UK's most sensitive defence projects, with opportunities for additional earnings and extensive training.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct servicing, repairs, and maintenance of vehicles and electrical systems, including diagnostic and inspection tasks.
  • Comply with customer specifications, regulations, and technical standards, ensuring the proper use of tools and equipment.
  • Diagnose, evaluate, and document the condition of vehicles and equipment, manage material needs, and complete compliance test reports.

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

  • Qualified Automotive Technician
  • NVQ Level 3 Qualification or equivalent experience

Optional Work Patterns:

  • Monday to Thursday - 6:45am - 5:30pm.
  • Monday to Thursday - 8:00am - 4:30pm & Friday 8:00am to 1:00pm.
  • (Overtime compensated at 1.5x, Sunday at 2x)
