Overview

Timeline Television is in search of a dedicated Human Resources Coordinator to oversee the complete employee life cycle, deliver effective support to staff and management across multiple sites, and aid in the execution of HR initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all documentation related to new hires and terminations
  • Draft and distribute employment contracts and freelance agreements
  • Conduct background investigations and handle reference inquiries
  • Facilitate and manage the probationary review process
  • Prepare payroll adjustments for the Finance department, ensuring timely submission for the monthly payroll cycle
  • Oversee and maintain employee benefits programs
  • Organize and update the HR filing system, ensuring all records are current and accurately filed
  • Address inquiries from management and employees in a timely manner
  • Administer and update the HR System (PeopleHR), ensuring data integrity and generating reports as required
  • Execute both ad hoc and scheduled HR projects in alignment with business objectives
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, best practices, and relevant legislation
  • Assist the Recruitment team with scheduling interviews
  • Manage the HR email inbox, responding to inquiries or directing them to the appropriate team member
  • Take minutes during meetings as necessary.
Qualifications and Skills

  • Outstanding organizational abilities and attention to detail
  • Experience in a media environment with employees and freelancers is beneficial but not mandatory
  • Demonstrated capability to engage with diverse stakeholders, both internal and external, in person and via video/telephone conferencing
  • Strong written and numerical aptitude
  • Excellent customer service orientation
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and multitask efficiently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience in managing HR policies and procedures
  • Basic understanding of employment legislation
  • Tech-savvy, with familiarity in utilizing various databases and systems
