About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Headteacher to lead the establishment of a new Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) school in Wiltshire. This is a unique opportunity to set up and lead a school that will cater to the needs of students with diverse requirements.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strong and effective leadership, inspiring a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. They will develop and implement a clear vision and strategic plan for the school, in line with SEMH best practices.

The Headteacher will foster a positive and inclusive school culture that promotes the well-being and development of all students. They will lead and manage a dedicated team of educators and support staff, providing guidance and support to enable professional growth.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SEMH needs and effective strategies for supporting students. They will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse team of educators and support staff.

About the School

The school will be located in Wiltshire and will cater to students aged 5-11. It will be an SEMH school, providing a supportive and inclusive environment for students with diverse needs.

The school will be established in June 2025, but the Headteacher will be required to join in January 2025 to assist with Ofsted, recruitment of staff, and the strategic plan for opening.
