Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Asset Development Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the development of operational strategies for our power station.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage issue resolution for the timely production of operational strategies
  • Help maintain process documentation for the operational team end-to-end project processes
  • Conduct technical analysis of plant components and equipment
  • Conduct optimization of spare part lists
  • Conduct joint analysis with project teams
  • Manage supplier's spare parts recommendations for quality, completeness, and availability
  • Track progress of reviews against KPIs
  • Present analysis of spares to the Joint Management Spares Team for approval
  • Engage with commercial teams to negotiate better arrangements with suppliers
Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience of spare parts optimization
  • Understanding of inventory management and procurement processes
  • Ability to read technical drawings
  • Experience of Enterprise Asset Management systems
  • Ability to develop and follow procedures
  • Able to develop work plans and deliver them safely and efficiently
  • Have experience of working in a project environment
  • Experience of dealing with a wide range of suppliers and customers (UK-based and international)
  • Excellent report writing skills
  • HNC/HND/Degree in an Engineering or Science discipline
