Role Overview

As a Paraplanner/ Client Service Manager, you will play a key role in supporting our Financial Planners, Wealth Managers and their clients by providing high-quality paraplanning services and also taking control of the Administrative process. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering Outstanding Client Service
    • Ensure client needs are met with precision and accuracy.
    • Provide exceptional client experience through proactive communication and timely issue resolution.
  • Supporting Client Partners
    • Provide technical research, recommendations, and advice to support client decision-making.
    • Collaborate with Client Partners to develop and implement client-centric solutions.
  • Acting as a Mentor and Continuous Improvement Champion
    • Act as a mentor to junior team members, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and knowledge.
    • Contribute to the continuous improvement of company standards and processes, identifying areas for enhancement and implementing changes to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Managing and Coordinating Client Cases
    • Manage and coordinate client cases, ensuring all business is processed accurately and in a timely manner.
    • Collaborate with Administrative colleagues to ensure seamless case management and client service delivery.
  • Ensuring Compliance and Quality Assurance
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and act as a line of defence for quality assurance.
    • Monitor and report on compliance and quality assurance metrics to drive improvement and excellence.

What We're Looking For

  • We're seeking an organized, proactive, and self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You should be able to manage competing priorities while maintaining a high level of service excellence.
  • Strong understanding of private banking, financial markets, and tax structures.
  • Experience in paraplanning, with a focus on research, analysis, and suitability recommendations.
  • Strong administrative skills with an eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Technical proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Commitment to professional development, ideally qualified to Level 4 or studying towards higher financial qualifications.

On Offer

  • Competitive basis salary. There is no official salary banding but a typical range would be £40,000 to £55,000 plus bonus and benefits.
  • Hybrid flexible working.
