About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Specialist Homelessness Prevention Coordinator to join our team at Hestia Housing Support. As a key member of our Homelessness Prevention Service, you will play a vital role in supporting single adults who are homeless or at risk of being made homeless within 56 days.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of service users over an 8-month period, ensuring they settle into new accommodation and can sustain their tenancies independently.
  • Work in a busy team coordinating a frontline service for those who are homeless or threatened with homelessness.
  • Utilize your specialist knowledge and understanding of housing and homelessness legislation to find the best solutions for clients' housing needs.
  • Deliver against individual financial outcome targets and service standards on a weekly basis.
  • Manage own caseload effectively and drive engagement with clients in line with service standards and Hestia values.
  • Undertake comprehensive assessments and ongoing reviews of clients' needs, options, and opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain effective working partnerships with statutory, voluntary, and commercial organizations.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate knowledge and experience of working with housing and homelessness legislation, including the Homelessness Reduction Act.
  • Have previously worked in a target-led environment.
  • Be solution-focused and proactive in achieving high-quality client work and results.
  • Have strong work ethics, excellent customer service focus, and impeccable organizational skills.
  • Be able to positively manage a busy client caseload and own workload in line with service standards and Hestia values.
