About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical and Stock Condition Officer to join our Asset and Investment team in Housing Services. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in planning and monitoring the delivery of our housing capital investment programme, including conducting stock condition surveys and developing future programmes of works.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough stock condition surveys on homes and assets to capture asset and energy data
  • Develop and implement programmes of works to improve the condition of our housing stock
  • Provide technical support, including creating specifications for works and recommending suitable components for decent homes projects
  • Oversee projects on site, ensuring adherence to contract and specification, as well as performance and financial targets
  • Manage your own workload without day-to-day supervision, across all types of construction projects
Requirements
  • Knowledge and experience of property management, with a focus on surveying properties and inspecting the condition of homes and assets
  • Understanding of stock condition surveys, decent homes legislation, HHSRS, and Net Zero targets
  • Experience of contract management and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to research and evaluate information to solve complex problems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
