Job Title: Senior Communications Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Communications Manager to join our team at DGMT. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive communications strategy to promote our HIV prevention project, Bumb'INGOMSO, and its objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a communications strategy to promote the project and its objectives.
  • Manage and execute a communications plan using various platforms, including social media, press releases, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, civil society organizations, and media outlets.
  • Monitor and report on media coverage and sentiment analysis.
  • Collaborate with the project team to develop and disseminate communications materials, including reports, briefs, and presentations.
Requirements:
  • 5 years of experience in communications, with a focus on project communications.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful communications strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
