Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop plans, implement, and evaluate safeguarding and permanence strategies for complex cases while mentoring junior social workers to ensure optimal outcomes for children.
- Engage directly with children, providing thorough and precise evaluations of their needs and those of their families, adhering to statutory guidelines, and collecting information through interviews, observations, and collaboration with other agencies as directed.
Essential Qualifications:
- A genuine commitment to a career in social care
- Current registration with HCPC and SWE
- Recognized Professional Social Worker credentials such as DipSW or CQSW
- Possession of a Practice Educator qualification
- Enhanced DBS check and updated service status
- Significant and demonstrable experience in a statutory Children's Social Care environment
