Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Senior National Account Manager to join our team at Zachary Daniels Recruitment, specializing in collaboration with esteemed Forecourt Retail Partners.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Business Development:
Work closely with the National Account Manager and Retail Partners to formulate comprehensive Joint Business Plans that align with organizational goals.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Establish and nurture an integrated contact strategy to foster relationships with key stakeholders, both within the organization and externally, ensuring exceptional customer service delivery.


Implementation of National Account Strategies:

Aid in the execution of strategies aimed at enhancing product assortment, increasing customer footfall, and boosting average transaction value, while promoting customer loyalty and satisfaction.


Oversight of Sales and Service:
Manage sales performance and service quality, proactively addressing and resolving any inquiries or challenges that may arise within the national account structure.

Debt Management Support:
Assist in the oversight of commissioned operator debt, collaborating with the Credit Control team to ensure effective management.

Cross-Functional Project Participation:
Engage in various cross-departmental projects as required, contributing to the overall success of the organization.

Continuous Professional Growth:
Embrace opportunities for personal and professional development in national account management and administrative functions.

Essential Qualifications:

Driving Credentials:
A valid UK Driving Licence is mandatory.

Numerical and Verbal Proficiency:
Strong numeracy and literacy skills are essential.

Educational Background:
A degree or equivalent qualification is highly desirable.

Relevant Experience:
Prior experience in a customer-facing role within the FMCG retail sector is advantageous.

Relationship Management Skills:
Proven ability to cultivate effective relationships in a national account environment.

Customer Strategy Development:

Ability to design and implement a customer strategy that drives profitable sales in both retail and wholesale sectors, with a focus on national accounts.


Technical Proficiency:

Familiarity with CRM systems, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Office applications.
