Lead Anaesthetist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Anaesthetist to join our team as a Lead Anaesthetist. This is a senior clinical position that requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as a deep understanding of anaesthetic practices and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Provide anaesthetic services to support elective orthopaedics, general surgery, urology, ENT, oral surgery, ophthalmology, gynaecology, pain services, and endoscopy.
- Manage anaesthetic resource across the hospital, including clinical sessions in operating theatres, out-patient pre-assessment, and in-patient ward rounds.
- Work closely with our team of Consultants across a wide range of specialisms and the hospital's Medical Director to develop Clinical Quality Standards and participate in audit and clinical governance programmes.
- Contribute to the planning and development of anaesthesia services, ensuring high-quality patient care and outcomes.
- Current registration with the GMC's specialist register of anaesthetists.
- Several years of experience, with at least 2 years in the UK.
- Commitment to ongoing medical education and professional development.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to the development of Clinical Quality Standards.
