About the Role:

Gemini Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Court of Protection Paralegal to join our client's team. As a Court of Protection Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Court of Protection team in achieving the best possible results for clients and their families.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Report directly to the Department Director
  • Assist with Court of Protection matters, including personal injury trusts, statutory wills, and gift applications
  • Prepare cases, attend clients, and deal with correspondence
  • Maintain accurate time costing procedures and implement recommendations made by supervisors
  • Ensure compliance with file management

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate passion and experience in a broad range of publically funded Court of Protection
  • Strong academic background with a Law degree
  • Legal experience as a Court of Protection Paralegal/Advisor
  • Clear understanding and application of Court of Protection
  • Business acumen and the ability to market the Company
  • Excellent communications, analytical, and organisational skills
  • Committed team player, self-motivated, and professional
  • Excellent IT Skills - familiar with Microsoft Office applications and document management skills
