Meetings and Events Manager

As a Meetings and Events Manager at Venture Hotels, you will be the face of our brand in Towcester. Your primary responsibility will be to drive business growth through effective management and increase of pre-booked trade. You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining links within the local area to drive performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work alongside the management team to ensure exceptional event execution and retention of our guest database.
  • Drive business growth through managing and increasing pre-booked trade.
  • Create and maintain links within the local area to drive performance.
  • Use social media to drive engagement and grow the business.
  • Be responsible for driving the wedding business through wedding showcases, open days, and online platforms.
  • Produce detailed function sheets for the wider team and may be required to be responsible for function execution on the day.
  • Attend workshops and meetings at other Venture Hotels to engage and develop existing skills.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience working as a Meetings and Events Manager, Sales Representative, Sales Manager, or similar role.
  • A natural networker who understands how to create contacts through local organisations, groups, and online networking.
  • A self-starter who wants to make things happen and can deliver results.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisation.
  • 2 years Hospitality experience preferred.
