Software Engineering Lead

As a Software Engineering Lead at Bloom Procurement Services, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our platform. You will collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to develop cutting-edge features and infrastructure using cloud-native technologies.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate effectively with product and engineering teams to define and implement software solutions.
  • Lead the development of new features and infrastructure leveraging cloud-native technologies, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
  • Champion application uptime, performance optimization, and robust scaling strategies.
  • Manage our AWS environment in accordance with the Well-Architected Framework, promoting best practices and security.
  • Drive architectural decisions that prioritize both performance and security considerations.
  • Maintain and enhance our CI/CD pipeline to ensure the seamless delivery of high-quality code.

Requirements:

  • Extensive expertise in Java and the Spring framework.
  • Proven experience with AWS infrastructure and Terraform.
  • Solid understanding of web services, including REST and SOAP.
  • Proficiency in Git, Kubernetes, and Docker.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience within software development teams.
  • A strong commitment to DevOps principles and tools.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
