About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Head of Engineering Project Management to join our team at Blatchford. As a key member of our R&D department, you will be responsible for leading our cross-functional engineering project teams and driving the execution of technical deliverables.

Key Responsibilities
  • Functional management of a small but growing team of Project Managers
  • Collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams to manage technical deliverables and drive projects through our stage gate framework
  • Facilitating the creation of product development roadmaps and defining accurate NRE budgets
  • Supporting the development and coaching of the Engineering Project Management team
  • Defining and reporting on measures and KPIs for all product development projects
  • Managing project risk and proposing timeline and budget plans to executive leadership
  • Managing and controlling project resourcing levels, including internal and external people resources, purchased materials, and device validation builds
Requirements
  • BSc or equivalent in Engineering
  • Extensive experience in medical device development, including experience in leadership roles in all phases of product development
  • Demonstrated experience of direct management and leadership experience
