Job Overview
The Long-Term Conditions pathway, part of the Children's Care Group within Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust (RDaSH), is looking for a dedicated and passionate Registered Nurse to become a vital member of our Children's Community Continence Service. This service is committed to assisting children and young individuals in the community to reach their continence goals.
As a member of an integrated team, you will collaborate with various Children's Specialisms, including Children's Community Nursing, Epilepsy, Special School Nursing, and TB. Our service offers nursing interventions, support, and guidance tailored to the continence needs of children, young people, and their families throughout the Doncaster Borough.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will manage your own schedule and caseload while receiving guidance from the Specialist Continence Nurse. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting, planning, and executing comprehensive continence assessments for children and young people facing challenges such as Nocturnal Enuresis, Daytime Wetting, Constipation, and Soiling.
- Providing care in various community settings, including schools, homes, and nurse-led continence clinics.
The ideal candidate will be a Registered Nurse with experience in continence care, possessing a strong desire to enhance the lives of children, young people, and families with additional needs.
The successful applicant will join a highly skilled team within the Children's Care Group and will be an effective team player committed to delivering exceptional care.
You will receive comprehensive support in your role and have access to ongoing professional development and relevant training opportunities.
