- Security and Compliance: Ensure that cloud infrastructure complies with industry standards for security, privacy, and regulatory requirements. Implement identity management, encryption, and other security measures.
- Monitoring and Optimization: Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting strategies using tools like Prometheus, ELK stack, or CloudWatch to track performance and optimize infrastructure resources.
- Collaboration and Leadership: Work closely with development teams, DevOps engineers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership across projects.
- Cost Management: Optimize cloud costs by selecting the appropriate services, right-sizing resources, and leveraging auto-scaling and cost-management tools.
- Containerization and Orchestration: Implement containerized applications using Docker and manage container orchestration through Kubernetes, OpenShift, or similar tools.
- 8+ years in IT infrastructure and cloud architecture.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with microservices architecture in cloud environments.
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Proficiency in containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes).
- Expertise in designing and implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- In-depth knowledge of networking, security, and identity management in cloud environments.
- Proficient in programming or scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, Go).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Relevant cloud certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Professional Cloud Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills to articulate architectural decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem-solving mindset and the ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
