About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Stop Smoking Advisor. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering stop smoking advice and support to service users in a variety of settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver stop smoking advice and support to service users in face-to-face, telephone, and community promotion settings.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare and non-healthcare professionals to meet patient needs.
  • Build relationships and partnerships with local communities and voluntary organisations.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of community-based interventions and prevention strategies.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience working with community groups and voluntary organisations.
  • Knowledge and experience of IT systems, including Microsoft Office and data collection.
  • Experience of working with individuals on a one-to-one basis and assessing/manage risk when working with individuals.
  • Commitment to professional and personal development, including completion of the NCSCT CHCP Health Trainer training course.
