Job Title: Financial Reporting Specialist

Job Summary:

Clyde & Co is seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Specialist to join our team in Glasgow. As a key member of our Business Services function, you will play a critical role in optimizing our financial operations and ensuring the integrity of our financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and upload month-end journals, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Complete monthly balance sheet account reconciliations, investigate and resolve differences promptly, and prepare relevant reconciliation reports and schedules.
  • Maintain fixed asset registers, perform depreciation runs, and prepare bank reconciliations and cashflow reports.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives, provide support during audits, conduct variance analysis for profit and loss accounts, and assist in completing reporting packs.
  • Perform other ad-hoc accounting tasks as needed.

  • Strong accounting and financial reporting skills, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate and resolve complex financial issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Proficiency in financial software and systems, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
