Job Description:

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Ground Engineering Estimator to join our team at ICDS Recruitment (UK) Ltd. As a key member of our preconstruction team, you will work closely with other team members and be supported by our preconstruction manager and commercial manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review tender documentation and provide feasibility advice to ensure accurate estimates and offers.
  • Ensure estimates and offers take adequate account of applicable legislation and recognised industry standards on health, safety, quality, and environment.
  • Lead and coordinate projects with the Bid Manager, the preconstruction Manager, and the commercial manager to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Study technical, legal, and financial aspects and develop a commercial strategy to drive business growth.
  • Review subcontract tender submissions for compliance and inclusion into the estimate.
  • Minimum of 2 years' post-graduate experience or similar required, in Ground Engineering.
  • IT literacy including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant software.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of ground engineering principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
