Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Clerk to join our team at Pertemps Tamworth. As a Payroll Clerk, you will be responsible for processing high-volume weekly and monthly payroll, ensuring compliance with UK regulations, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process end-to-end payroll, including SMP/SSP, gross pay, deductions, and net pay
- Calculate variable components such as shift allowance, overtime, and bonus
- Ensure compliance with UK regulations, including payroll legislation and tax laws
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and internal stakeholders
Requirements:
- Previous experience in payroll processing, preferably in a high-volume environment
- Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and tax laws
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
