About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursery Chef to join our team at Grandir UK. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for overseeing the culinary operations and providing healthy, nutritious food for our children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Menu Planning: Develop and implement 6-monthly menus in consultation with catering staff, managers, and regional managers to ensure high-quality food products.
  • Team Support: Provide guidance and support to catering staff and the Nursery Manager to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Catering Standards: Monitor and maintain the highest levels of catering standards, adhering to TCC and PSN guidelines.
  • Recruitment: Assist the Nursery Manager in recruiting and selecting catering staff to ensure a skilled and dedicated team.
  • Audit and Compliance: Conduct regular kitchen audits to ensure compliance with TCC and PSN standards.
  • Administrative Tasks: Verify the accuracy and completeness of kitchen paperwork.
  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain professional relationships with Nursery staff to ensure a collaborative and supportive work environment.
