Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Advanced Practice Accreditation Coordinator to assist the team responsible for implementing the National Advancing Practice initiative within NHS England.

The successful candidate will collaborate with team members and the broader directorate to ensure that their projects and programs are organized and executed efficiently. This role is crucial in supporting the achievement of the program's goals and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities will encompass:

  • Organizing meetings for the Program Team and aiding in the coordination of conferences, gatherings, independent panels, and events.
  • Assisting in the evaluation of Advanced Practice Programs.
  • Serving as a resource and point of contact for various external stakeholders, internal colleagues, and senior management while providing administrative support to the program.
  • Regularly engaging with and negotiating with senior stakeholders and their offices on complex and sensitive matters.
  • Monitoring all project plans and actions within the team, identifying potential risks and delays in execution.
  • Handling and conveying complex, sensitive, and often contentious information.

Job Responsibilities

Candidates will start at the entry level of Band 5, with a full-time starting salary of £28,000, although prior experience on this pay scale may be considered. Salaries are determined in accordance with NHS Terms and Conditions of Service and the NHSE Pay Progression Policy.

The location of the post holder's base will be subject to negotiation, although the designated office base is typically the one closest to the post holder's residence.
