The RoleZopa is seeking a talented Senior Lending Strategy Analyst to enhance our dynamic risk analytics team. This group is instrumental in elevating credit performance through the development of risk models, testing hypotheses, and analyzing portfolio trends. You will collaborate with various departments, including data science, product management, and engineering, to formulate and implement growth strategies, influence key decisions, and uncover new opportunities using advanced analytical methods.
Key Responsibilities- Lead complex projects with significant impact on our lending strategies.
- Innovate and devise creative solutions to analytical challenges.
- Engage in a wide range of activities across credit strategy, policy, affordability, fraud prevention, valuations, and pricing.
- Utilize cutting-edge technology, including Python for data analysis and machine learning, and Redshift for data warehousing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance credit strategies and policies.
- Analyze portfolio performance and recommend strategic adjustments based on findings.
- Mentor junior analysts, supporting their professional growth.
- Proven experience in credit risk analysis within consumer lending.
- Proficient in data manipulation and analysis using SQL and/or Python.
- Skilled in data visualization and storytelling (experience with Tableau is advantageous).
- Strong analytical mindset with a passion for deriving business insights from data.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and time management skills.
- A collaborative spirit, eager to work with diverse teams across various functions.
