We are seeking a highly skilled Ceded Reinsurance Accountant to join our team on an interim basis to support with quarter end, reinsurance premiums reporting, data improvements, and production of high-quality bank and GL reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate closely with the technical and ceded reinsurance team to ensure accurate reporting on month and quarter close.
- Utilize reinsurance data to provide insightful analysis to finance, actuarial, and operations teams on areas such as P&L, budgeting, and forecasts.
- Improve newly implemented accounting systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure all reporting is in line with regulatory standards (SII/ IFRS17).
- Strong insurance technical reporting/accounting across reinsurance premiums.
- ACCA/ACA/CIMA or strong QBE within reinsurance accounting.
- Excellent Excel modeling skills.
- Proficient analytical/data skills with excellent storytelling for P&L.
- Ability to support with close accurately and on time.
- Excellent GL and bank reconciliations experience.
