Job Summary

Safran Landing Systems is seeking a skilled Procurement Leader to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing relationships with suppliers, ensuring our requirements are clearly recognized, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyzing and processing requirements to ensure timely supply and managing inventory
  • Reviewing and uploading supplier schedules to maintain on-time delivery
  • Negotiating deadlines and quantities with suppliers to meet business needs
  • Overseeing manufacturing progress on supplier sites
  • Managing delivery receipts and returns to suppliers
  • Participating in Line of Balance (LoB) reviews and escalating delivery and quality issues
  • Reconciling supplier performance and measuring and analyzing supplier metrics
  • Identifying and closing out root causes and communicating major program changes to suppliers
  • Implementing recovery plans and conducting regular supplier reviews

Requirements

  • Good working knowledge of ERP systems and MRP2 principles in SAP
  • Experience in aerospace or a related field
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Negotiating and influencing skills
  • Business understanding and commercial awareness
