Strategic Procurement Leader

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Procurement Business Partner to join our team on an interim basis. This strategic role will involve leading procurement activities within the Economy, Environment, and Infrastructure portfolio, with a focus on facilities management, transport, and infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in procurement regulations, policies, and best practices in the public sector.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing large-scale, complex procurement projects, preferably within local government or the public sector. They will also have experience leading and developing small teams in a procurement environment. A degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience in procurement or supply chain management is essential.
The Procurement Business Partner will be responsible for overseeing procurement activities, including the planning and implementation of the Procurement Annual Plan. They will also be responsible for developing and maintaining effective working relationships with stakeholders, including suppliers and internal teams.

- Lead and mentor a small team in delivering complex, high-value procurements.
