Job Title: Team Leader
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader to join our team at Meldreth Manor Children's Home. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of support workers and senior support workers to provide high-quality care and support to children and young people with severe and profound communication difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of support workers and senior support workers to provide care and support to children and young people.
- Develop and implement individual program plans to meet the needs of children and young people.
- Ensure that all documentation is kept up to date and that all necessary records are maintained.
- Participate in physical intervention and personal care as required.
- Undertake sleeping-in duties and waking night duties as required.
- Take an active role in ensuring that activities are completed and that day-to-day implementation of young people's individual program plans are carried out efficiently.
Requirements:
- QCF Level 3 in Childcare or a QCF Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
- Shift/team leading experience.
- Superb communication skills.
- Highly organized.
- Ability to lead and motivate.
