Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Information Security Engineer to enhance our IT Security initiatives. This role involves collaborating with various teams to ensure that our IT infrastructure is designed and maintained with a focus on security.

The Information Security Engineering team emphasizes the technical aspects of system architecture, data protection, and compliance auditing. Our goal is to ensure that all systems and services are developed with security and privacy integrated from the outset. You will collaborate with colleagues in governance and compliance to facilitate audit processes and ensure data usage aligns with regulatory standards.

Our team comprises individuals ranging from recent graduates to seasoned engineers, all with diverse backgrounds in system administration, networking, service operations, and security. We utilize leading enterprise-level tools to detect threats and employ custom scripts and online research to bolster our defenses.

The work environment is dynamic and fast-paced, responding to shifts in business priorities and the evolving threat landscape.

This position supports a hybrid work model, allowing for a blend of remote and in-office work.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in information security engineering with a strong focus on application security, particularly in network infrastructure.
  • In-depth knowledge of ITIL principles and security governance frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS, and CIS Controls.
  • Hands-on experience with SIEM technologies is crucial.
  • Comprehensive understanding and practical experience in securing Microsoft and Linux operating systems, including RHEL and Ubuntu distributions.
  • Experience with next-generation firewalls, SASE solutions, and privileged access management systems.
  • Solid grasp of data encryption, key management, and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).
  • Familiarity with security technology development and automation tools like Ansible and Puppet.
  • Strong background in Cloud Security, including platforms such as GCP, Azure, and AWS.
  • Practical programming skills in Python, Java, and PowerShell.
  • Extensive experience with EDR and XDR solutions across various operating systems and containerization environments, along with email security gateway management.
