About the Role

Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking a highly skilled Binder Technician to join their team. As a key member of the Binding Authorities Technical team, you will be responsible for working on a range of areas, including Binders, Open Market, and Lineslips, with some in-house binder business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and submit premium Bordereaux to Xchanging in conjunction with the Broker Binding Authority System.
  • Register binders on Lineage and utilize DCOM, DDM, and DAM.
  • Assist in queries from Underwriters, Clients, and staff, and work with the Accounts Department to resolve queries.
  • Forward Risk Level Data Bordereaux to Managing Agents and update Binding Authority statistics.
  • Produce and submit Open Market Slips and endorsements to Xchanging for signing.
  • Liaise with clients for payment and maintain contract certainty reports.
  • Work closely with the broking team and present slips to underwriters, ensuring the slip is signed and managing the documentation to the client once bound.
  • Produce and maintain files and utilize a document management system.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working as a Technician handling Binding Authorities business.
  • Proficiency in IT, Excel, and Word skills as necessary.
