Private Client Tax and Trust Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax and Trust Services Director to join our team at Creative Tax Recruitment. As a key member of our private client tax team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the strategic direction and development of our trust and estate services.
Key Responsibilities- Lead Personal Tax Advisory Work: Oversee and enhance the delivery of personal tax advisory work, including drafting reports and leading client discussions.
- Manage Client Portfolio: Manage a client portfolio predominantly involving trusts and estates, addressing multiple sources of income and gains.
- Client Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for clients, effectively communicating complex tax technical information to non-experts.
- Deliver Advisory and Compliance Assignments: Drive the delivery of one-off advisory and compliance assignments.
- Mentor and Train Team Members: Mentor and provide technical training to team members to foster their development and enhance team performance.
- Process Improvement: Implement process improvements to increase efficiency within the team.
We are looking for a tax professional with strong technical tax skills, a strong background in capital gains tax, inheritance tax, and the UK tax return filing process. The ideal candidate will be proactive about improving services and internal processes.
