Position Overview

This opportunity is exclusively available to individuals currently employed within an NHS Trust in the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Integrated Care System (HIOW ICS).

We are seeking to enhance our dedicated and successful nursebank team by recruiting an Interim Staffing Coordinator, located at a prominent healthcare facility.

In this dynamic role, you will serve as the initial point of contact via telephone and email for scheduling temporary shifts and addressing a range of inquiries. The successful candidate will join a collaborative team, delivering a proficient and professional temporary staffing service to both our current and prospective bank personnel, as well as our clinical and management teams in need of staffing support.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibility will be to assist our frontline clinical teams by filling vacant shifts with bank and agency personnel, while meticulously documenting information in our systems. Exceptional customer service skills are essential, along with the ability to communicate effectively in a sensitive and confidential manner, as you will encounter a diverse array of queries and requests.

Strong communication and teamwork abilities are crucial, as is the capacity to work independently. The ideal candidate should possess excellent IT and organizational skills, preferably with experience in a fast-paced office setting.

**We are looking for a candidate who can ideally commit to full-time hours, including one shift from 11am to 7pm each week and one Sunday per month from 8am to 4pm.** Some remote work may be feasible following the completion of training.
