About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Medical Records Coder and Summariser at Northlands Surgery.
Key Responsibilities
As a Medical Records Coder and Summariser, you will be responsible for administering clinical correspondence, ensuring that all incoming and internal patient correspondence is stored on/in the patient's medical record and relevant information is coded.
You will also be responsible for summarising and reading code relevant information from the patient's clinical records into the practice computer system, working strictly in accordance with the practice notes summarising protocol.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a good level of education, including GCSE grade A to C in English and Maths, and 12 months+ experience in clinical coding and summarising.
You will also need to have knowledge of anatomical terms, good IT skills, and the ability to use Microsoft Office and learn how to use new applications.
