Job Description

**Job Title:** Stores Operations Manager

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled Stores Operations Manager to oversee the management and health & safety protocols of our stores. As a leader in our industry, we require a proactive and experienced professional to implement strategies that optimize store operations, ensure accuracy in inventory records, and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and implement store procedures to ensure efficient operations and compliance with industry standards.
  • Lead and manage a team of store personnel, providing training and development opportunities to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Implement strategies to optimize store operations, including inventory management, stock control, and logistics.
  • Supervise the receiving, storage, and distribution of materials, equipment, and products.
  • Conduct regular audits and reconciliation to ensure accuracy in inventory records.
  • Coordinate with procurement and other departments to meet material and product requirements.
  • Implement best practices for warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safety.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies and procedures in compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards and potential risks in the workplace.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, implementing corrective and preventive measures.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in health and safety legislation and ensure company policies and procedures are updated accordingly.
  • Prepare and present reports on store performance, inventory levels, and health & safety metrics to management.

**Requirements:**

  • Experience in store management in an OEM sector.
  • Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and standards.
  • Certification in Occupational Health & Safety (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) (desirable).
  • Supply Chain Management, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field (desirable).

**Working Hours and Benefits:**

  • Monday – Thursday: 8am - 5pm.
  • Friday: 8am - 2pm.
  • Bupa medical after 2 years' service.
