Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Science Teacher to join our team at a reputable Secondary School in Cornwall.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans in General Science, catering to diverse student needs.
  • Maintain a well-organized and respectful classroom environment, promoting student growth and development.
  • Provide guidance and support to students, fostering a love for learning and academic excellence.
  • Build strong relationships with students, encouraging positive behavior and active participation.
  • Assess student progress, offering constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues and support staff to achieve shared educational goals.
  • Adhere to and implement the school's policies, contributing to a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Science Teacher, with a strong track record of student success.
  • A relevant General Science degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment, with a focus on student well-being.
  • Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) is highly desirable.
