Role Responsibilities
As an Assistant Room Supervisor, you will be at the heart of Kido, embodying our values and contributing to our vibrant culture. Your role will be crucial in maintaining high standards and ensuring that our educational environment is exceptional.
You will collaborate closely with the Room Supervisor, taking charge of your designated area and transforming educational objectives into engaging experiences for the children. Your leadership will guide your team in planning, organizing, and executing stimulating activities that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) standards and the Kido curriculum.
In this role, you will support your colleagues in observing and assessing the children in your care, helping them set developmental goals. By exemplifying Kido's values, you will ensure that your room remains a welcoming and supportive space, even in the absence of the Room Supervisor.
With a hands-on approach and meticulous attention to detail, you will create enriching experiences throughout the children's learning journeys. Effective communication with parents, children, and colleagues will empower you to provide the best possible experience.
We celebrate each child's unique journey, and you will play a key role in documenting their progress and achievements. By adhering to our observation systems, you will ensure that every milestone is recognized and celebrated.

Candidate Requirements
- A relevant childcare qualification, with a minimum of Level 2
- Alignment with our core values: Listen, Learn, and Lead
- Experience as an Educator, preferably in a Deputy Room Leader role
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS Criminal Record check
