Job Title: Support Worker - Specialist Care

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at the Kent Autistic Trust. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with autism and learning disabilities.

About the Role:

As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing one-to-one support to individuals with complex needs, including physical and learning disabilities. You will work closely with our team to develop and implement personalized care plans, ensuring that each individual receives the support they need to live independently and achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-to-one support to individuals with complex needs, including physical and learning disabilities.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans, working closely with our team to ensure that each individual receives the support they need.
  • Support individuals with daily living tasks, such as personal care, cooking, and cleaning.
  • Assist individuals with medication administration and other health-related tasks.
  • Encourage and support individuals to participate in activities and hobbies that promote independence and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to ensure that each individual receives a high-quality service.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with individuals with autism and learning disabilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement personalized care plans.
  • Basic knowledge of autism and learning disabilities.
