3D AutoCAD Design Manager

Established in 1994, OCU Group is a leading utility engineering contractor in the UK, delivering engineering solutions with a strong track record of success. We are seeking a highly skilled 3D AutoCAD Design Manager to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage multidisciplinary design teams to ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and client requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, design, and implement Substation-based engineering projects in the regulated DNO market.
- Direct line management of a team of approximately 10 Electrical designers and technicians.
- Project Design Leadership: Management of design works for projects in development, detailed design, and technical support during construction stages.
- Commercial & Programme: Management and prioritization of works for the team.
- Environmental: Ensure designs are considerate of environmental factors and involve key business advisors in design reviews.
- Safety: Ensure safety by design, operational compliance, and design governance in line with OCU Group policies and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in civil engineering design, with a focus on infrastructure projects.
- Proficiency in relevant design software and tools.
