The Opportunity

We are seeking an Analyst to join our Digital Advisory (Emerging Technology) team. The successful candidate will have a strong interest in artificial intelligence, blockchain, and other emerging technologies, and will be responsible for supporting the Director and Executive in building the firm's knowledge, capability, and brand in this area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Director and Executive with day-to-day tasks, including knowledge and learning, business development and marketing, and digital products.
  • Manage knowledge and content sharing, including building, documenting, and administering relevant internal systems and processes.
  • Assist with creating and maintaining training and know-how materials on emerging technologies and supporting the delivery of relevant content to colleagues.
  • Support ad hoc research, queries, and similar in respect of emerging technologies in line with business and team priorities.
  • Maintain global, cross-practice materials as up to date and assist with production of major campaigns and targeted reports, articles, consultations, webinars, roundtables, and events.
  • Support global and cross-practice initiatives relating to client pursuit and engagement, including preparing content for marketing and business development activities.
  • Support opportunities to grow the firm's capability, presence, and work in respect of emerging technologies and inform strategy, business development, and marketing efforts.
  • Stay abreast of emerging tech news and proactively share insights into the impact of news on clients and sectors.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
  • Excellent academics (minimum 2:1 degree).
  • Strong IT literacy, including an aptitude for learning and becoming proficient in the use and functioning of new and innovative software and IT applications.
  • Experience working in a professional services environment, preferably large international law firm.
  • Solutions-oriented, curious, and creative thinker with a strong interest in emerging technologies and their application in the context of law and regulation.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to summarise complex issues succinctly verbally and in writing and to liaise directly with clients and lawyers and others in the firm.
  • Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise and experience working on numerous projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
