About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Clinical Lead to join our team at Northampton General Hospital NHS Trust. As a Clinical Lead, you will be responsible for leading the nursing team and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to children and young people with Haemoglobinopathy disorders.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead the nursing team in providing child/young person-focused Haemoglobinopathy services
  • Develop and implement innovative practice in the specialist area, ensuring evidence-based care
  • Manage the paediatric haemoglobinopathy nursing team, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge and skills
  • Work across disciplines to ensure quality care is provided in accordance with local and national protocols, guidelines, and policies
Person Specification
  • Educated to Degree level or equivalent level of education, training, or experience
  • Relevant clinical experience at band 6 or above
